The Website Performance Report provides insight into how users are interacting with your Cyncly website. Below is a glossary of terms and metrics included in the report.
Sessions
A group of interactions on your website a user does when they visit and are active on your website.
Users
A visitor that lands on any page of your website and has an interaction (session) is considered a user.
Pageviews
A pageview when a user lands on a page and it is loaded. Pageviews in this dashboard are the total number of pages on your site viewed.
Average Session Duration
The average length of time of all sessions on your website.
Bounce Rate
A metric that calculates the percentage of users that land on your website, do not proceed to another page, or submit any data before leaving.
Top Channels
Channels are different ways a visitor finds your website.
Organic: visitor typed in specific keywords into a search engine to have the website show up.
Direct: visitor typed URL directly into browser.
Paid: visitor clicked on an ad to bring them to a retailer's site.
Referral: visitor clicked on a link from another website (excluding search engines) and was brought to a retailer's site (examples: Floor Covering News' website; a manufacturer's website, any blog or media website).
Social: visitor came to the website through a social media platform (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.).
Email: visitor clicked on a link in an email (email marketing campaign or individual email) and was brought to the site.
Display: visitor clicked on a display advertisement/image (can be done through adwords, adroll, and other platforms) and came to the retailer's site.
Top Pages
Top 50 Pages based on the views generated on each page.
Page: The page of the website that appears after your domain (/ is the home page) - example: /location = the location page.
Pageviews: The number of times the corresponding page was viewed in your selected time frame.
