Homebase users can manage their own In-Stock products and pricing. Read on to learn how.
Step by Step Instructions
- Log into your Homebase account
- In the left-hand menu, click on Catalog Manager, then click on Flags, Price & Private Labeling. This page will show you all flooring products that are currently in your catalog. If you want to add pricing or flag to an item that is not yet in your catalog, you'll need to add said item(s) first from the Manage Catalog page. You can find instructions on how to do that here.
- Find the product(s) you are looking for using the available filters, or by searching by the specific name or SKU.
- To mark a product as In Stock, check the In Stock box for that row. You can also mark items as Best Seller, On Sale, On Clearance, Special Order, and Featured. You are able to mark an item with as many flags as you want.
- To add pricing for an item, enter the price per square foot number in the Price column.
- Once you have made all of your changes, you can click the Save and Publish button at the top right of the page. This will publish your changes to your website, and works the exact same way it works on the Manage Catalog page.
- Once your catalog is done publishing, you should see your flags showing on your website.
Things to Note
- You can save your progress at any time using the Save button at the top of the page. Saving alone does not publish changes to your website, but retains your selections if you leave and come back later.
- If you can't find a specific product, go to the Manage Catalog page and ensure it has been added to your catalog first.
- You may see some rows that say "Awaiting image - Will not be published" in the image column. This means we are still waiting on the manufacturer to provide a swatch image and therefore can't display the product on your website yet.
